THE RUNDOWN
-
Each self-contained workshop is a 4-hour journey, giving each performer a chance to experience the process of learning
a production number from a hit Broadway musical that features dance and/or stylized movement.
During each class, students will experience the following:
-
An intro about the Broadway musical the number being learned is from.
-
Vocal warm up leading into learning vocal parts and harmonies for the production number
-
Hybrid vocal and movement warm up led by JT
-
A choreography and dance representative from the Broadway team of each show clearly teaches the actual Broadway choreography from their show.
-
The end of each workshop day culminates with the performance of a full song and dance number.
-
All performers will be asked to perform in smaller groups
-
Our panel will watch and give feedback to each performer so they have a takeaway, and the panelists will also award two full scholarships to our next event
